1. God Loves you and has a plan for your life.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son [Jesus Christ], that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16). I [Jesus Christ] am come but they [you] may have life, and that you might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10).

  • Sin Separates you from God.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gif of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

  • Jesus Christ died so that you can have Eternal Life.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

  • You can become a child of God.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. (John 1:12) For the grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gif of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

  • You can receive eternal life now.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with heart man believeth unto righteousness; and shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call up on him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:9-13)

  • A suggested prayer of commitment.

Lord Jesus, I need you. I realize that I am a sinner, and I can’t save myself. I need your mercy. I believe you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I repent of my sins and I put my faith in you as Saviour and Lord. Please take control of my life and help me follow you in obedience. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, Amen.

God is not as concerned with your words as he is with your heart. If you prayed in Jesus’ name and asked to be saved, then Jesus Christ has come into your life (Revelation 3:20) and you will share in his kingdom (Colossians 1:12-14), for you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). It is God’s desire that you grow spiritually, and to do this you must acquire Bible knowledge (Spiritual Food) and then apply it to your life (Spiritual Exercise).

If you have prayed this prayer and know that you have been forgiven of your sins, you are now a child of God. But it is unnatural to remain a child forever physically or spiritually. It is God’s desire that you grow in your relationship with Jesus.

We at Center Baptist Church would like to be a part of your growth in Him. Please contact the church at 706-878-2693 or use our email us and let us know of your decision. God Bless You!
